Ebert on Indy
My review of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is complete and turned in. But Ebert’s is already published.
Now, when I saw the movie, I was strictly informed that no reviews or blogging will be tolerated until opening day.
Oh yeah? Well, how do you explain THIS?
Sigh.
Well, anyway, my review of Indy 4 will be published tomorrow, long after the interested parties are sick and tired of reading reviews of it.

Ben “Prince Caspian” Barnes to play Dorian Gray
No more does the “next Orlando Bloom” crown descend than Ben Barnes begins racking up the lead roles. Currently onscreen as the titular Prince Caspian, Barnes is set to tackle a literary classic — the title role in The Portrait of Dorian Gray.

Philip K. Dick’s Ubik
Another adaptation of a Philip K. Dick novel is on the way. But who will direct it? It’s a tough, philosophical, ambitious work. Some screenwriter’s got a tough assignment.

I’m trying to steer clear of reviews, because I want to know as little as possible before I see it. I would very much appreciate, however, your giving a few lines in the blog as to your overall impressions. Is it as good as “Crusade”? Is it better? Thanks!
I’ll say this: I’m reading a lot of reviews that call it the second-best entry of the series, and some that call it the third-best. I take issue with the first, tend to agree with the latter. But it’s a close call.
The “next Orlando Bloom” crown…
Priceless.
